Independent Monument II

Another night-shot of Independent Monument with a different angle.

I cropped off the crowds & other distraction on the right. As I prefer those lights leading one's eyes to the monument. What do you reckon?

I liked the other picture you have and this one is really good as well. I like how the lights lead you to the monument. The people in the front are a nice touch. Lisa

Great shot, The line of the lamps leads you right up to the monument. Focus, dof, clarity are all there. BJ

Nice crop, use of leading lines (with the lights) and I like the monument lit up too. Well done.

Very, very well done Ariel. I really like the eccentric positioning of the building and yes, the eye is drawn to the building. Could not be better. - Scooter -

The lights are leading your eyes to the monument. Great picture considered that it was dark. Well done Ariel! *__^ annemarie

Ariel, very good shot again of the Monument. I think I might have cropped the last light pole on the left off, cut it close to the next one, because of the white light on the left of that pole, you would still have the line of lights leading to the monument without that distraction and without the line being this long which is unnesesary. But it is still a great, those other ideas are just my thoughts. Fred

Hi Ariel, Good to have you back on line! I like this photo, especially how the lights draw your eye up to the monument! I think the other objects in the photo are dim enough not to distract, and the composition is great. Alex

Nice job, critiqing your own photograph is good. Helps people see what you see before they type the same thing over and over, nice rows of lights you have there that lead to your prize ;)
