The Answer!!!
So here you're... this is the answer : Bamboo tube filled with sticky rice & red beans.
hmm... I dunno about the taste, as I didn't try. But this is very common in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The texture & contents you've seen in previous submission are the herbal & ingrediant to make the rice taste better. ^__^
This local lady simply took the rice with her hands, she didn't use any spoon nor fork nor knife to break the bamboo. Really amazed me! I guess the bamboo became soft after cook. *winks*

Nice job using your subject as your background. Seeing the action of the person open it gives it a size reference. You could also afford more room on the bamboo peel backs so it's not to close to the edge of the frame. Interesting dessert to enjoy :)croc
