Lovely concept you have here and I think this photo would of had more draw to it if the background was all one colors without any distractions as this photo is artistic. The upper leaf seems a tad overexposed but I love how this tree just come up that way with what seem to be an old part attached to it. So I think if you could somehow control the bg to make the main subject really stand out, this would be a wonderful photo

Ariel, fremme loves that word overexposed. :) but I am afraid that I would have to agree with this shot. Your main subject is very bright in this bright sun, and the background is distracting. If you could have moved to the left and removed the dead trees it might have helped. Fred

Hi Ariel, I found your concept humorous and sophisticated. The background didn't distract me so much, compared to the previous reviews. However, I might agree that the young leaf is a little bit overexposed. I any case you always have a special way to look at your environment >> Maria

It's hard to get the focus you want when your subject is spread eagle (Laugh) as they say'*LOL Yes I agree the bud is a little over exposed to move a little to the left you would've probably gotten more exposer on the bug and got rid of more of the distracting background to get all dirt to give it more sharpness for your subject...But I can say on thing...Love your imagation and creative mind you got there to see shots like this...can't wait to see more. *wink*

Well I quess I have to agree with the oythers on this quality of the pic. Ariel! But I like your concept. You just amazes me sometimes when you come up with these subjects. Well done Ariel!

Ariel I really like your thinking on this...but I too have to agree with the others, your subject just seems to be washed out in the bg...maybe just some adjustments would make this a better capture...Charlene
