Welcome back Ariel, hoping you trip was safe and fun for you, and that you took many photos of your New Year, this rooster looks like he is trying to hide from the morning sun, I like how the sun is shining thru the tree to give us a glimpse of the rooster, good job thank you for sharing and again welcome back

Ariel, it is so good to have you back, I have missed your great reviews with you little winks. Great shot of the Rooster, what colors, his coat is so beautiful, the sun has washed out a little of the red in his cone, but it does not deminish the beauty of the picture. Again "Welcome Home" Fred

Yes! You've got a colorfuly subject next to something that is of size. That really works. I love the rust color of this bird. He seems to have his eye on you wondering what you are doing. The veins of shadow do not take away from the shot at all. Very Good. - Scooter -

Welcome back Ariel. What a beautiful shot to open with. This rooster taken against the large tree makes him stand out even more. Looks like he was sneaking through the brush but you caught him. Looks like the rooster was awakened by the sunlight. Usually its like the rooster waking up the sun. Nice texture and colors of your subject, and the greenery makes it placed differently than I am used to, like the dirt barnyard so something similar, :)croc
