It's all put to good use, even as a hat holder. The darkness helps to draw attention to the child. As you look more, the eyes start to pull you in further to the thoughts. THe bleak and colorful help compose the shot, nice job croc

This picture does speak loud and clear about the way of life if this family. The contrast between the material and the home is quite clear. Good focus. Have a safe, enjoyable trip. Talk to you when you get back. Dianne

Aerial---another great photo full of insight! Composition is well done---draws attention to the child. I might crop a bit of the right side of the frame as the bright light detracts just a little. Having visited Cambodia several times, your work reminds me of many similar scenes---and to remember how fragile life is! Thanks for posting this photo. Safe travels! Randy

Great, how you caught the expression on the little girl's face. It is of course sad to see the child in this environment, though we probably should be cautious just to judge from our cultural rooted impression.
Also composition and photographic quality of this photo are excellent.
