Set me free...

This poor fellow is locked in a double-layers cage...
He looked so anxious for the outside world...

Good crisp focus on the little fellow. He does look as if he is begging to get out. Great colors, and you have done well getting past the fence.

You did a good job here having him stand out nice and clear even through the fence. The eyes are very nice and colors are great. Good job Ariel!

I love this photo because of the way you made the monkey stand out from the fence. It's also the way you captured in his eyes that he really wanted to get out of that cage. The DOF is wonderful...It's very hard to separate it when you have the fence in front and are trying to make the animal clear in back but you did a great job here. Color and lighting is clear and sharp, composition is wonderful. This photo is brilliant...keep up the great work

Oh, what a pitiful epression you have captured here Ariel. I hate to see our planets beautiful wildlife caged so, even though I agree with the conservation side of zoos and wild life parks. This image is a great example of what you can achieve with the correct depth of field. Your monkey is crisp and clearly in focus behind a blurred foreground & with a blurred background. Wonderful composition, he fills the frame well. Those luminous eyes are also well framed by the fence diamond. A well thought out and executed shot. It also tells a rather poignant story of captivity. Nicely done.

Nice control of your focus on this photo is my first comment, really well done to get the face so clearly. Nice DOF, good lighting and nice details, those eyes are almost perfectly framed within the fence but regardless, I'll give this a 5, well done

This one hurts me as it brings back a sad memory. In the Phillipines, I had a monkey that I could not bring back. I remember him hugging me through his cage when we took him to the American Legion club off base. They had a monkey cage where he had to make his way through the pecking order. I could not bring myself to stay for that. You did perfect isolating the detail with this guy. Good capture (no pun intended). - Scooter -

Strong image. Animal rights people would be all over this. The title is so appropriate. The image tells the entire story.

The expression on the face tells a tale. It's in focus and centered to boot. The addition of the fence also tells another story. Nice job with all these aspects incorportated in this one shot, croc
