Neat one, Ariel! From what I can see, the focus looks good, nicely blurred background. I like the combination of greens and the way the leaf the grasshopper is sitting on seems to glow. You could probably crop in even tighter, but nothing else to change here. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful waves of different hues of green and to top it fo that grasshopper takes the spotlight! Good clarity in foreground and muted in the back. Well done Ariel!

Really interesting Ariel. I love the lines of the leaf edges. The light is a bit hot on him but it brought out the leaf he is resting on. You kept your dof just far enough. I really like this. - Scooter -

nice job the grasshopper seems to jump right out at you focus is great i would cop off the leave down the right side great shot with that 70mm lens

Nice use of colour and lighting on the critter. I too would crop the leaf on the right out of the pic, as it detracts from the insect. Good DOF. Well done.

Nice job getting close, I can see your predicament with your lens, it has its limits. Little hot spot on the head, but the composition is pleasing and it has different shades of your favorite color. What a hopper :)croc
