The Original of Identical Beige

Hi, all. This is the original of my last submission - Identical Beige.
As you can you see I've cropped a lot in order to bring that beige creature closer. How do you find this original one?
The only lense I've is 18-70mm, therefore this is the closer I could get. What do you reckon?
Pls kindly advise if you would do it another way? TQ! ^__^

Definitely would have cropped a vertical of the first half of his body making him definitely more pronounced. Like I said before, you took on a tough subject. So, you were indeed fully extended on your focal length? I imagine so, as these creatures aren't much for hanging around when big humans are near. Considering your lense, you got pretty close. You did a good job on dof with the lense you had. This would be a good reason to look towards a telephoto zoom one day. - Scooter -

I can see what you're saying Ariel, under circomstance you did the best you could. Maybe invest in a telelens before Macro? Youre pictures are definitely worth that! Bless you and your work! Anne-marie

:)Snake, take your photos at the highest resolution or raw so you would have enough info to crop down without getting too pixelly.
CROP: First bring the bottom up to just below the elbow, bring the top down to the top of the twig (the one that appears to be cut off) the right side to the front of the twig, not to be seen in the shot, and the left side up to the spine of the lizard, not including the soft focus twig. That is how I would crop it, but everyone sees things differently. croc

I guess if what you really want is to have the lizard as the main focus of the whole pictur rather than the whole image being focused primarily on, you could always use a photoshop program or similar and experiment by somehow highlighting the lizard to stand out more...?

Hope i helped!
