Red vs Gold

Took this picture outside a pagoda. I had the body of "local dragon" (the protector they believe in, it's a dragon with 5 snake-like heads.) to separate 2 different structures(the pagoda itself & the parapet). Hope you like the way they do colouring...

If its a multi-headed snake like creature outside a Pagoda it is probably a Naga - traditional protectors of the Dharma.

Amazing intricate designs and patterns. The colors also add a great deal of dimensionality and texture. You did a good job with this exposure and the depth is most appropriate, your foreground is sharp, making it stand out from the back

This is very intresting, the colors and focus are wonderful here, it seems it needs to be straightened a tiny bit, very nice work.

I love the colors, the details, the DOF here - it's just a realy beautiful photograph. I'd love to have the top left a bit sharper so that it would look clearer; but over all - really a great job. Thank you for sharing.

Great shot. Great on the tech stuff. It is very graphic so I would have either shot it straight on to make it completerly symetric or made it non-symetric intentionally. The lines seem just a little off.

I like the use of colour and pattern here. It just needs to be straightened a little but overall a nice arty shot. Well done.

Really like the colours and differnt pattern layers in this shot. Most people would have gone for the head but i think this is much more interesting! Sometimes we dont always have to see the whole object to get a feel for it. Well done and thanks for sharing!

Interestin subject. I love the colors they have used. Could you please just send me a quick message and tell me where you took this. As said previously I think it is just a tad off straight, easy to remedy if you choose.Love all the contrast of different lines, makes for a really cool shot...thanks

So many detail in this ornamental structure. Lines and curvers and the colors that are used, very interesting. Yet it is so repetitive. Great shot Ariel, good focus and DOF. Thanks for sharing. ^__^ A.

I absolutly love the contrasting patterns and the colors here. Maybe you could crop the left side a little bit. Just a suggestion... Otherwise, great shot!

I feel the lines and patterns in the stone is what you would like to get across. Capturing the natural coloring of a monument or sculpture shows that it is real, painted, weathered by the sun. Nice job, croc

I agree that this section is much more appealing to the artistic eye. This does demonstrate your eye for a shot. You've caught so many shapes that add to the shot and this applies geometry strongly in this shot. Add the pastels and this becomes a very nice piece. - Scooter -
