Haven't bought the Macro lense, but would like to try some shooting on flower... & I found this unknown flower nearby a village about 45mins drive from Phnom Penh airport. Would appreciate if any of you could tell me the name of this flower. TQ!

Wow, that's quite an exotic flower. I can't help you with its name, but what I can tell you is that this is a very nice photo. I like how the flower stand out and are nice and crisp. The bud on the left also shows what this flower look like before it blooms. Very nice colors, DOF, and exposure is just right. Nice job bringing this to us Ariel. -Jon

Nice job using the minimum focal distance with your lens to get the shot. The subject is in focus, and you have three different buds. You can see the leaves in soft focus which helps accent your subject with the matching colors. Don't know what the flower name is. Thanks for sharing, Croc

Ariel, Great picture! Very interesting subject matter and very well positioned. Your focus is right on. This reminds me of brains for some reason. I will try to find out what kind of flower this is!

Lovely overall detail on the flower heads, with great dof to the whole shot. You've been able to keep the lovely colours, and have included all flowers for us to appreciate the different stages and angles of the heads
